Each month, join poet and teacher Annie Finch for this online, guided circle designed to help you reconnect with yourself and your intentions. Inspired by ancient traditions and Annie’s own personal practice, we will explore how the energies of the five sacred directions—East, South, West, North, and Center—can offer insight into your current life journey.

We’ll begin with journaling and sharing in a supportive environment. Then, using a poetic practice called Meter Magic, we’ll shape our intentions into a simple, powerful spell—a poetic “amulet” you can return to for strength and inspiration throughout the month.

No prior experience with poetry or magic is needed. If you identify as a woman or gender-nonconforming, you are warmly welcome to join. Each month, you’ll receive suggestions on what to bring or prepare ahead of time, along with access to a private class space for participants.

These ninety-minute, live, monthly gatherings are held via Zoom on the first Wednesday of the month. They are offered in a cycle corresponding to the six poetic meters in a six-month series. You may register for one class or the full series of six sessions.
