What is the certification?
Meter Magic Certification attests that you have acquired proven skill in writing, teaching, and magical use of each of the nine meters and metrical strategies of the Poetess Priestess Cycle. It certifies that you have been fully tested in Annie’s system of Meter Magic by Annie Finch.
In addition to knowing you have learned the metrs as thoroughly as possible, the certifiication entitles you to:

In addition to the inherent benefit of learning the Meters as thoroughly as possible, this certifiication entitles you to:
- Use the Poetess Priestess name and branding and Annie’s name in all poetry teaching and trasnmssion of meter
- Use the name and branding in all teaching and facilitation of spiritual and healing workshops, ceremonies, and rituals
- Use the name and branding in any writings or other public creations.
requirements for certification?
At least 33 credits are required, Credits are earned as follows:
- Participate in Formal Feeling Workshop, full cycle (9 sessions) : 9 credits
- Participate in Poemcasting Circle, full cycle (9 sessions) : 9 credits
- Write 39 lines in each meter, scanned, for approval by Annie or a certified Poemcaster: 9 credits (can be used only once)
- Guest-teach one session of Poemcasting Circle under supervision of Annnie or a certified Poemcaster (5 credits each session)
- Design and lead a ritual relying on the magic of rhythmical language under supervision of Annie or a certified Poemcaster (5 credits)
- Lead a session of “Healing Your Childhood Rhythms” under supervision of Annie or a certified Poemcaster (5 credits)
