Annie Finch

It’s not a Vagina, it’s a Vulva!

I have always loved and admired the work of psychologist Harriet Lerner. Her books The Dance of Anger and The Dance of Intimacy were key in helping me get into adulthood sane. But honestly, this little essay on the importance of the word VULVA is likely the most helpful thing I’ve ever read by her. I found it on the website of the great Max Dashu, organizer of the Suppressed Histories Archive and scrupulous independent scholar of Goddess lore, who put together the poster above. Read and enjoy!
